Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations or consideration by the scientific program committee. We encourage you to submit via Online System Oral presentations will be grouped according to the topics of the congress.
Poster presentations will be grouped in sessions during which the authors will be present to answer questions and discuss their work.

Restrict the Word count to a Maximum 250
The Abstract Title should fit in two lines and it should clearly define the content of the abstract.
State Author Name(s) Family(Last) name followed by initials of first and middle names. Place an asterisk (*) after the name of the presenter. Finally the institutional affiliations, city and country should be listed.
Check Spelling and Grammar Carefully Direct reproduction from your electronically submitted abstract text means that any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific data will be reproduced as submitted.
Use Generic Names. Commercial drug names may not be used.
You will automatically receive Confirmation of your submission via email after your submission.
Do not Submit attachments, slides, or any reference materials with the abstracts.
Use Arabic numerals for all numbers except at the beginning of a sentence where they should be written out. Use standard abbreviations and symbols. Keep abbreviations to a minimum and define each one when it is used for the first time.
If you wish to submit more than one abstract, use the access key you will be given to do so. You can also use this access key to revisit the site to update your abstract(s).

The organizers strongly recommend that authors submit abstracts through the on-line system at www.wcsa2009.com. If you have genuine difficulties gaining access to the on-line submission, please fill out the submission form and send it to the Secretariat by email or fax. The abstract can be modified two times and no graphics submitted on-line. Submission result will be sent electronically by email. If you don¡¯t receive any notification until December 31, 2008, please contact the Congress Secretariat in no time.

The abstracts will be reviewed anonymously by the Scientific Program Committee. Authors will be notified whether their abstract has been accepted. Authors will additionally receive an email letter of acceptance from the Congress Secretariat. In case of further questions, please contact the Congress Secretariat.

Abstracts for presenting at the WCSA2009 congress must be submitted in English. The abstracts of the 9th World Congress on Sleep Apnea will be published in the journal ¡°Elsevier¡± (Elsevier Science, Amsterdam)
A copy of the Congress Abstract Book will be given to all delegates who attend the Congress. Please note that accepted abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book only if the registration fee has been paid before the Congress. Paid registration is a condition of publication.
The presenting author of a selected abstract commits himself/herself to attend the Congress and present the abstract in the session and at the time dedicated upon by the Scientific Committee. One of the co-authors can take over if needed.

Authors will be required to disclose any conflict of interest including affiliations with sponsoring companies within the body of their abstract. Disclosures will be included in the Congress Abstract Book. The presenting author is responsible for this information.
